Birthday trip to Nature's Farm

The girls and I decided to head out this past Saturday in celebration of Arya's Birthday. We went to a place called Nature's Farm where they had farm animals, pumpkin decorating, hayrides, and a traveling reptile petting zoo. It was sooo fun. You could touch and hold all sorts of animals. Blake met us there and then we ate lunch at Chick-fil-A and went birthday shopping for Arya.
Lets go for a ride!

Yeah that an alligator! MoNiTor LiZArD!!!

Arya's a...

Plum lovin'
Chair pushin' Pool swimmin'
Beautiful girl!

Why the wait...

Well, I haven't added pictures for a while because I picture-took myself out! AND sadly our external hard drive died along with all our pictures!!!! AND the external is suppose to be the back up in case your computer dies!
Well the good news is, Blake backed up all our photos before we moved out here so we just lost the ones from May on, and all the darling wedding ones I wanted to use are saved on Blake's brother's computer, but they are in Utah so.... enough of that though.

Thanks to every looker at my blog and for the comments, I'm glad you like us!

Family news: Brooke, my sister-in-law had a baby boy this month, Jake Tyler! Congrats Gibsons! Arya is almost walking. Blake got one day off this week and I got to go to the temple! I survived Joy School at my house this week and even liked it. Addy is still the Princess and I the Step-mother. (Because she loves Cinderella and Cinderella's mom is... the Step-mother. She hasn't quite figured out that the step-mother is mean, yet and it's embarrassing when she calls me step-mother is public!!! Blake is almost done reading Brisinger and loves reading it every moment he has (and doesn't have for that matter).

Bryce & Jen's Wedding

We had a great time this past August going up to visit family. Blake's brother Bryce got married to Jen Illum on the 5th in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful wedding and very fulfulling day.
I have been waiting to put this post up because half of the pictures from the wedding were taken in a "special" high quality format and we aren't able to view them on our computer yet. But alas, we still can't view them so I guess I'd better just put up what I can view...so everyone else can see too!

I forgot to mention...

...I made the wedding cake for my in-laws wedding. Its the first wedding cake I've ever done. For those of you that don't know, I use to decorate cakes at a bakery, but always wanted to do a wedding cake. Isn't it beautiful! (G&S is for Greg and Susan)

Activities

The girls and I stay home everyday and we don't know many people yet so I've had to come up with many activities to do everyday to keep us entertained. Adelyn in learning her alphabet, I am starting to read a variety of books, (several at a time, I really have a short attention span) Arya is crawling now and exploring every inch of the house she can reach on hand and knee, and Blake work work works. Here are some of the fun things we've been doing...
Digging a hole for a stake to try and help out our falling tree. (Far left in back)

Arya stuck in an under the table adventure. DVD exploration

Arya has two new teeth!
What happens when you put bread, butter, and Adelyn together???
The butter dissapears fast!

The Giant Sandwich

Feast your eyes on this baby! It was a delicious, giant sandwich that I created one day for dinner. I thought it would be fun to make a sandwich and put everything on it and cut it like a pie (so I needed a lot of room). It was delicious !

The Bellflower Group

In "CASE" you were wondering this has been Blake's second family for the past two years. This was the Bellflower Group at Case University at the Dental School. Blake loved his preceptors, Dr. Laniuskas and Dr. Krane. They are the two with premature gray hair brought on by the students and their unrelenting questions and problems:) he he. Suzy in the middle was the Patient Care Coordinator, she was the one who scheduled and took care of their patients for them and she was the best. We all ate at Primo Vino in Little Italy down by the school. It was fun and emotional for everyone as we said our goodbyes and talked about the future. We will miss you all and thank you for being a part of our lives! Good Luck!

Senior Dinner

Blake's Dental Class put on a Fabulous Dinner for the graduating seniors. We enjoyed dinner at the Cleveland Botanical garden, but sadly got their too late to enjoy the actual gardens. We socialized, ate, and watched presentations given by the dental class (awesome) and professors (not so awesome Zzzz...) during the course of the evening. Blake also received the"Practice Administration Award" as well as a second scholarship award for his hard work and dedication during school. We are so proud of him and his stalwart work and love of dentistry! He is a great dentist and will be great in his associateship practice staring this July. Blake, I love!

The Kofford's are moving?
Our 4 year neighbors and friends took off early this May for San Antonio, Texas. We already miss them and it feels really strange looking at the house next to ours and telling ourselves they don't live there anymore. We have been each other's life support the past two years, especially since we've lived next door. Not to mention we have girls the same ages and Blake and Brandon were both the same year in dental school. Addy was so sad in nursery on Sunday when Kaitlin wasn't there and she keeps calling out loud for her at home. "Where's my KK?" Then she does that cute little scream/giggle (Kaitlin's trademark) that she learned from her. Wow, the things I never thought I miss, I already do. Well, I knew I'd miss Marian! Sweet and full of love for everyone, Marian. What I am going to do with out you girl? We love you Kofford's and hope you find a new kind of bliss in San Antonio and congratulations on finding out about your baby boy!
I wanted to post these last pictures I took of Addy and Kaitlin together.

Saying Goodbye

Last Saturday morning the Relief Society had a little brunch for the sisters moving out of the ward. We had a great time and good eats! I will miss everyone. This ward has been the best thing for me in Cleveland, and even though very few people are still here from when I moved in originally the people I am leaving are just as dear to me as the first. Thank you sisters especially, for your love and friendship and being my family away from home.
