The Bellflower Group

In "CASE" you were wondering this has been Blake's second family for the past two years. This was the Bellflower Group at Case University at the Dental School. Blake loved his preceptors, Dr. Laniuskas and Dr. Krane. They are the two with premature gray hair brought on by the students and their unrelenting questions and problems:) he he. Suzy in the middle was the Patient Care Coordinator, she was the one who scheduled and took care of their patients for them and she was the best. We all ate at Primo Vino in Little Italy down by the school. It was fun and emotional for everyone as we said our goodbyes and talked about the future. We will miss you all and thank you for being a part of our lives! Good Luck!

Senior Dinner

Blake's Dental Class put on a Fabulous Dinner for the graduating seniors. We enjoyed dinner at the Cleveland Botanical garden, but sadly got their too late to enjoy the actual gardens. We socialized, ate, and watched presentations given by the dental class (awesome) and professors (not so awesome Zzzz...) during the course of the evening. Blake also received the"Practice Administration Award" as well as a second scholarship award for his hard work and dedication during school. We are so proud of him and his stalwart work and love of dentistry! He is a great dentist and will be great in his associateship practice staring this July. Blake, I love!

The Kofford's are moving?
Our 4 year neighbors and friends took off early this May for San Antonio, Texas. We already miss them and it feels really strange looking at the house next to ours and telling ourselves they don't live there anymore. We have been each other's life support the past two years, especially since we've lived next door. Not to mention we have girls the same ages and Blake and Brandon were both the same year in dental school. Addy was so sad in nursery on Sunday when Kaitlin wasn't there and she keeps calling out loud for her at home. "Where's my KK?" Then she does that cute little scream/giggle (Kaitlin's trademark) that she learned from her. Wow, the things I never thought I miss, I already do. Well, I knew I'd miss Marian! Sweet and full of love for everyone, Marian. What I am going to do with out you girl? We love you Kofford's and hope you find a new kind of bliss in San Antonio and congratulations on finding out about your baby boy!
I wanted to post these last pictures I took of Addy and Kaitlin together.

Saying Goodbye

Last Saturday morning the Relief Society had a little brunch for the sisters moving out of the ward. We had a great time and good eats! I will miss everyone. This ward has been the best thing for me in Cleveland, and even though very few people are still here from when I moved in originally the people I am leaving are just as dear to me as the first. Thank you sisters especially, for your love and friendship and being my family away from home.

Mini Me

Who's, who???

Doll Face & Dad

Our little Arya, isn't so little anymore! She is now in 6 month clothes and chatting up a storm. She is determined to get what she wants and needs and loves attention, yet not whinny. She has the most amazingly long dark eye lashes and brightest eyes anywhere! She absolutely loves getting set on the changing table because of what could be happening next, (diaper or clothes change) and you can change her mood in an instant into happines just by putting her on there. Arya, we love YOU!!!

The Joy of Motherhood

-I dedicate this to my mom, who always has been and continues to be my wonderful motherly example. Thank you, Mom!

It’s the calm before the storm, that I never see
Everything is good until the challenge faces me

The lunch is cooking and kids almost in place
Mmm, I’m so hungry with yummy smells near my face

“Go get in your chair, and sit down quick.”
We rush to our places, and I almost get a lick

But before the bite, the baby lets out a cry
“Oh no,” I think, “Please, just one try!”

Then I hear it, that thunderous roar
I better hurry before…

Oh no, I’m too late! It’s already leaked out!
Now it’s up the stairs to get the stains out

Eww, the smell is so different than the food right before
“It’s not fair.” I say, as I scrub even more

Okay, fresh clothes, and the laundry is in
Now down the stairs I go, to bite right in…

Ahhhh!!!
Come on!!!

No, this can’t be
I was just up there for a minute or three

What a mess, and look at that smile on your face
You’d think I never cleaned this place

What is the right thing to do?
Do I just laugh or yell at you?

“Okay, just keep your cool.” I sigh to myself
Now it’s off to the kitchen for the rag on the shelf

At the sink I notice, staring me in the face
A message from God, in just the right place

“Joy!” It screams, and whispers too
See the joy in being you

That old soap bottle had a message for me
Find joy in the trials and toils that be

It’s God who cultivates the strength in mothers
For the times ahead, when she needs to lift others

I thank thee God, for strengthening me
Little by little, until the day that I am with thee
